About the Award-Winning Necklace Design: Waves is a necklace made from recycled sterling silver. The form of the necklace imitates the movement of water and curly hair. The matt surface is created with a needle matt technique and resembles suede. The original piece for casting and mold making was shaped by hand, by bending warm wax sheets with form giving irons. Each necklace element has a larger wave at its center, surrounded by smaller waves, to create natural movement and a balanced design. The necklace is festive yet light to wear. The silver is not plated, and production takes place in Finland.
This palette has a harmonious temperature, offering versatility in various contexts.
