About the Award-Winning Bracelet Design: Tambourine B is a bracelet inspired by the tambourine, a percussion instrument that completes the rhythm of music. The bracelet holds a movable inner ring that shifts inside the outer ring and produces a soft sound when the wearer moves. The precise fit of the two rings makes the construction method complex. Sterling silver is used for the piece. Hand sketches were converted into digital models and printed in resin, then cast, soldered, polished and silver plated by hand. The lightweight and minimal form is intended as a symbol of life, dance and music.
This palette has a warm feel, suggesting comfort and energy.
